Waiver Wire Moves - Week 3

Two Times Navaneeth
Dropped David Ortiz last night. His power numbers are down and he is not the slugger from two years ago. But still should've probably tried to find a trade for him, either a package trade, or straight swap and receive a starting pitcher. Now he lies on the waiver wires. Picked up texas SS Elvis Andrus, a rookie, since Jimmy rollins continues to eat up a pivotal roster spot. Now I can have him on the bench till he starts to get those hits. Also dropped orioles SP Jeremy Guthtrie and picked up FA Nats SP Jordan Zimmerman, another rookie. I suppose all this over-dependence on rookies will probably hurt more than do good in the long-run since there is no trend or performance path to go by.

Trying to acquire SS Troy Tulowitzki from the waivers. Dropped cubs SS Ryan Theriot. Theriot has been decent so far with a good BA, but a power hitter like Tulo in my line-up is exactly what I need, especially given the 09 predicted numbers for troy. Adrian Beltre is available as FA. Need to make a decision as to whether stick with current 3B Encarnacion or pick Beltre?

Also need to make roster space for Red Sox SP Justin Masterson before he gets picked up. For now, all pitching rosters look solid.
